Traci Hunter Abramson
about traci
I am originally from Arizona and I often visit my family who still resides there.  After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in business, I moved to northern Virginia where I worked for the Central Intelligence Agency for six years.  Though I loved working for the CIA, I finally decided I loved being a mom more.  With my husband's support, I started my new adventure of full-time motherhood.

My husband and I have four very active children who enjoy a broad range of activities.  They are all rather tolerant of the time I spend on the computer writing, as well as the four months I spend each year coaching the North Stafford High School swim team.

As for my writing career, I started writing over ten years ago after resigning from the CIA, and it took me more than seven years to finally create a manuscript that was  worth submitting.  (I tried submitting earlier novels and I have the rejection letters to prove it!)  The idea for Undercurrents had been rattling around in my head since college, and it took that long for it to finally take shape.  Thankfully, submissions have gone much smoother since that first novel made it into print.
